Agio And Disney To Launch Disney Resort Collection

Inspired by the luxury and style of Walt Disney World® Resort

Agio International and Disney Consumer Products have come together to create a new line of outdoor furniture as part of the Disney Resort Collection. Exclusive to specialty patio retailers, the first two collections in the line are inspired by Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge at the world- renowned Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida. The line will be introduced at the International Casual Furniture Market in Chicago, September 15-18. With detailed design and colorful upholsteries, the first two lines in the collection bring to life the exotic African-style and the Victorian elegance of these two destinations at Walt Disney World® Resort. The Disney Resort Collection from Agio will be available for the spring 2009 season

“When consumers see the new Disney Resort Collection, they’ll stop intheir tracks,” said Pam Lifford, executive vice president, global home and apparel. “Together with Agio we’ve crafted a line that gives consumers a unique way to incorporate their cherished Disney experience into the home and garden space.”

The Grand Floridian Collection
Victorian Inspiration Reminiscent of Florida’s Golden Era

Attention to detail, authenticity and understated elegance describe the new Grand Floridian Collection by Agio. The exclusive new banana leaf all-weather wicker whisks you to a tropical destination. All welded, rust-proof aluminum frames have a hand applied multi-step finish featuring a beautiful wood grain look. Cast aluminum arms and legs with the look of carved wood minimize maintenance, and aluminum slat table tops with a unique wood look complete the authentic feeling of the collection. The Grand Floridian Collection features a variety of deep seating and dining arrangements and includes versatile accessories such as a martini bar, swivel bar stools and a serving cart. An 11 foot market umbrella tops off the elegant group. .

The Animal Kingdom Collection
The Adventure of a Lifetime

The Animal Kingdom Collection is as unique and exotic as it is warm and welcoming  with its sun-warmed colors and lush textures . Made of fully welded, rust-proof aluminum frames with a hand applied multi-step, safari brown finish, the frames are protected with a baked-on high gloss sealer. Natural red slate table tops with exclusive cast bronze accents replicate materials found in nature. An intricate diamond weave pattern on the chair backs is created out of a durable all-weather wicker material reminiscent of wrapped rattan. The collection features reversible cushions in mesmerizing patterns of African-inspired geometrics, animal prints, natural textures and intricate jacquard weaves.
